I know you might have already heard about this elsewhere, but the hosting provider JavaPipe has recently launched a new product line of Linux VPS (virtual private servers) that includes 1Gbps unmetered bandwidth.

The VPS nodes are powered by SolusVM and housed inside Voxility's data center in Bucharest, Romania. Thanks to the huge anycast network capacity that JavaPipe can use there, they also offer 700+ Gbps DDoS protection with every unmetered VPS.

While there are several providers who offer unmetered bandwidth, JavaPipe is one of the few ones that include DDoS protection and also full 1Gbit/s unmetered bandwidth and not just 100Mbit/s, like Afterburst offers for example.

Many hosting companies rely on OpenVZ for their budget VPS products, but did you know that OVZ is just user land virtualization and more like a chroot jail than an actual virtual machine? The provider has unrestricted access to your data if they use OpenVZ. JavaPipe luckily uses Xen virtualization, which is a full virtualization method and can therefore be considered a full VM and not just a container like OpenVZ.

I tested their unmetered VPS plans with a TOR relay and they didn't complain even though I was pushing a fair amount of traffic. So I guess it's safe to say that they really do provide 1Gbps unmetered bandwidth at fairly low prices: the smallest plan is just $33/mo which is less than 10Mbps unmetered traffic alone usually cost. Amazing offer really, I don't know how they do it.

I was able to pay the VPS with Bitcoin by the way, which is something they support. That's another big advantage too for everyone who invested in BTC or wants to stay anonymous. The hosting location is offshore as well in Romania.

One other point worth mentioning: you can select either HUGE SATA storage during the order process or FAST SSD storage - their unmetered Linux VPS plans support both. Oh, and I think I didn't tell you that they support Windows too and not just Linux. So it's actually not correct to call this Linux VPS, because it might as well be a Windows VPS.

It's up to you which OS you select during checkout. You can even have JavaPipe upload your own ISO if you need some sort of unpopular OS installed on your VPS. It's incredible. You get full access to SolusVM too. And, at last, there is a 7 days money back guarantee.

All in all I have to say that JavaPipe as launched an awesome product that I'll surely use for several different projects.
